Cole Doman (b. 1993, Philadelphia, PA) is a trained stage and film actor living in Brooklyn, NY.

He studied at the School at Steppenwolf under Amy Morton, Tarell Alvin McCraney, Michael Patrick Thornton, and more. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune named Cole among the "Hot New Faces of Chicago Theater" in 2016.

He made his film debut as the titular role in the critically acclaimed Henry Gamble's Birthday Party (dir. Stephen Cone), for which his performance was heralded as one of the "Best Breakout Performances of 2016" by The Film Stage. Other film credits include: Mutt (dir. Vuk Lungulov-Klotz); My First Film (dir. Zia Anger); Uncle Frank (dir. Alan Ball); Starfuckers (dir. Antonio Marziale).

On television he has appeared in Let the Right One In, Gossip Girl, Modern Family, Law & Order: SVU, Chicago PD, Equal, and Shameless.

This past summer he starred in the sold-out, limited run of Jacob Wasson’s Other People’s Dead Dads directed by Rory Pelsue at Dixon Place. He made his New York debut in the world premiere of Your Own Personal Exegesis by Julia May Jonas at Lincoln Center Theatre, directed by Annie Tippe, for which his performance was lauded by The New York Times and even cartooned by The New Yorker.

Forthcoming films include: Matt Fifer’s sophomore feature Haze for IFC/Shudder; Angal Field’s short film Bust which presented in competition at Sundance Film Festival 2024.

Most recently, he wrapped shooting a series regular role on The Savant for AppleTV+ alongside Jessica Chastain, directed by Academy Award nominees Matthew Heineman & Rachel Morrison and written by Melissa James Gibson.

He is currently shooting a role in Kelly Reichardt’s next film The Mastermind opposite Josh O’Connor for MUBI.
